IP Audio Encoder/Decoder

TERRA-IEX2II is designed for simple point-to-point or point-to-multi-point audio distribution, as well as converting analog audio via an Ethernet/Internet network without the need for a computer. TERRA-lEX2II incorporates a high-quality MP3 encoder and decoder. The decoder converts MP3 audio from the network, and the encoder converts analog audio sources, such as a CD player, to the network. The internal memory of TERRA-lEX2II supports up to 200MB for music/messages/recordings storage. Audio files can be easily stored through a computer on the local network and played locally. Additionally, the micro-SD card can store all audio files.

The typical application involves integrating BGM playback and emergency calls using a single TERRA-lEX2II. Generally, the TERRA-lEX2II is utilized for decoding MP3 audio streaming from the network. A push button is connected to the control input of TERRA-lEX2II for emergency calls. Additionally, users can connect an external microphone* of their choice to the mic input. Lastly, users can program one or several target IP addresses through the TERRA-IEX2II web browser. When the push button is pressed, BGM playback automatically stops, and the emergency call is triggered to play to the pre-programmed target or to multiple targets sequentially as programmed. The call can be a live broadcast or predefined messages.
