PMIP-K4/K8 is an IP paging console specially designed for audio over IP applications. It can be used with or without Vox@net audio server software.
It comes with 4/8 buttons and a XLR5 plug for optional flexible or hand-held microphone. Each button is made of hardened plastic to be sustained use resistant and can be assigned to a zone, a message or other functionality. An optional metallic plate enables adjustment of the console inclination while locking cables.
The device is equipped with a standard Ethernet RJ45 interface which allows the unit to be directly connected to the network.
A built-in web browser interface allows simplified control and programming of the paging console.
The DSP based architecture enables management of new codecs.
SIP protocol enables the paging console to be compatible with the standards of digital telephony.
Contact inputs can be programmed as logic, selector or analog mode for actions triggering, source selection or gain adjustment. Relay outputs are fully programmable and can be managed locally or via a VNB control protocol.
In addition, using Vox@net audio server software enables PMIP-K4/K8 to behave as a client.
